Her approach in the DJ scene isn’t just about mixing tracks; it’s about crafting experiences by redefining rhythms, one night at a time.

Born and raised in a home where a mom plays a banging loud music of Abba, Carpenters, Steps in an early morning, a musically-inclined dad who is part of an all-male choir, and surrounded with family & relatives that always celebrates music through karaoke, music has always been her comfort zone since childhood. She knew that one day, music will paved the way to a beautiful hobby.

Debuted in March 2018 as one of the first female DJs in Zamboanga del Norte, MISSKHAE became her own’s drive force in a male-dominated industry. But due to the lack of support, proper mentorship, and carrier restraints, she had to quit.

With her strong passion in music, she decided to get back behind the decks 5 years later in the island of Panglao Bohol last October 2023. She started learning again from scratch, connected to people that genuinely loves to see her grow, and bounded herself with people who supports her. Today, she has been playing in small crowds in the islands of Panglao, Siquijor, Dumaguete, twin-cities of Dapitan & Dipolog, and continued to develop her skills at her musical home in Davao City.

Started as an RNB/Hiphop/Pop fan, Misskhae has developed a strong connection with House Music and some of its sub genres throughout her journey of learning — Bass House, Deep House, Funky House, Afro House, Progressive House, and Minimal Tech are some of her favorites. Her preference extended to Moombahton, Amapiano, and Dancehall.

Her journey into the world of DJing began in a spark of opportunity, and has now evolved into one of her most liberating hobbies. As she continues to break barriers, her dedication to the craft as a female DJ on training, and her dying passion for music rises her to be at the forefront of the local DJ scene in the Philippines. She believes that her seamless transitions and intuitive understanding of the crowd’s pulse set her apart.

Still in search for her signature style and sound, she loves the feeling of seeing even just a few people getting up their feet when she’s in control of the music behind the deck.
