I had the honor of opening the lounge with some banging house music during my DJ set at NIXX It Up event. It was an epic year-end party and nothing short of legendary. I wasn’t in the best shape that evening due to a high fever, but when you’re behind the decks, the adrenaline usually takes over. I couldn’t resist giving the crowd a few heart pumps before the lounge transformed into a full-blown party scene with DJ Warren Mendoza & DJ Iyenn with MC Big Mac.
Despite not feeling at my best, the beats were naturally flowing, and the crowd was loving it. Opening up NIXX It Up event that night was a blast, and I could feel the anticipation building as the beats filled the lounge. It’s those moments that make live performances in DJing so special – even on off days, the music connects from me to the crowd, and then eventually the party spirit takes over.
